The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
